RIO: THE MOST AMIABLE CITY IN THE WORLD
For its many facets, Rio is the brazilian tourism capital. The wonderful city, located in southeastern Brazil, with 6 million of habitants located in an area of 1224.56 km², coastal extension of 246,22 km² and green area of 325.6 km², is a mosaic of enchantments scattered between the sea and the mountains. Rio is more than one, because each day is creating solutions to meet all tastes and desires.
Rio is the postcard mark of Brazil. The Corcovado with Christ Redentor is one of the new Seven Wonders of the World. There is also the Pão de Açucar, a pleasurable trip that reveals the city to the world. The sights are numerous symbolic, but it is important to mention the Maracanã Stadium, the largest temple football five times world champion and Passarela of Samba, where the samba schools parade that participates in the largest event of the city, the carnival. Rio was chosen after research carried out by the universities of Michigan and California, as the city with the most amiable people in the world. This is the biggest secret of the wonderful city, the spirit of Rio, that makes all the urban mosaic of different attractions. Rio are the beaches, mountains, green areas, the outdoor sports, such as New Year's events, carnival and many others. Rio is historic, it is cultural, it is daytime, and night live. It has many flavors. It is for all ages. Rio is like one of its symbols, the Christ Redentor, with open arms to welcome the visitors.
